🎨 Realism vs. Fast & Free Art – My Thoughts

In my last post, I ended with a question: “Do you think realism is worth the hours, or do you prefer art that’s fast and free ?” And honestly, I’ve been thinking about it too. Realism: The Slow Magic Realism is where I lose track of time. I’ll sit for hours, obsessing over one tiny wrinkle or the way light falls on fabric . Sometimes it feels never-ending, but when someone looks at the painting and says, “Is this a photo?” —all that patience feels worth it. It’s like a quiet victory between me and the canvas. Fast & Free: The Energy of the Moment But then there are days when I don’t want to be patient. I just grab my brush and let the strokes fly. You capture emotions quickly, without worrying about perfection. No rules, no pressure—just me, my colors, and whatever emotion I’m in at that moment.
